Man found guilty of killing 40-year-old man during argument at Circle K parking lot in 2025

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A jury found a man guilty of manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of a 40-year-old man at a Jacksonville gas station in 2025, according to the State Attorney’s Office.

According to the SAO, Calvin Mapson was found guilty of killing 40-year-old Trey Carter on Jan. 17, 2025, in the parking lot of a Circle K on Sunbeam Road.
