Back in December 2025, after a long day at work, I ate at Waffle House for the first time!
Ever since I learned about Waffle Houses, I’d been curious to experience one myself. 24 hours open and even a predictor of how bad storms are going to be? I was intrigued!
Diner Vibes
Upon walking in, we had to decide between saddling up to the diner counter or grabbing a booth. We went with a booth.
A waitress brought over our lay flat menus of our breakfast options and left us to decide our meal of choice.
I decided to go with the All Star Breakfast.
My honest review
The food was pretty good. The waffles were a little soft, but the eggs, bacon, and hash browns were solid. I didn’t love the jam options to go on the toast (#jamsnob #bonnemamanforever), but there was so much food, I didn’t need to worry about having enough food…
