More Than 100 Illegal Gambling Machines Seized in Jacksonville Crackdown

Jacksonville, FL — Law enforcement officials seized more than 100 illegal gambling machines during a three-day citywide operation targeting unlawful gaming activity across Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced the enforcement effort, called “Operation Reel of Fortune,” was conducted in partnership with the Florida Gaming Control Commission.

During the operation, officers and detectives visited businesses across the city to identify and remove illegal gambling machines. Authorities said the machines were discovered at 16 different locations, including restaurants, bars, gas stations, and other businesses…
