Lake City, Fla. – Temperatures dropping to 29°F late tonight could freeze crops, damage pipes, and impact vulnerable residents across a large stretch of North Florida and Southeast Georgia before sunrise Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service in Jacksonville, a Freeze Watch remains in effect from late tonight through Wednesday morning for more than 20 counties, including Suwannee, Columbia, Baker, Nassau, and Union counties in Florida, along with Pierce, Brantley, Ware, and Camden counties in Georgia.
