A Duval County jury has found Charles Cawthorn guilty of burglary to a dwelling after a break-in last summer in the Queen’s Harbour neighborhood of Jacksonville’s Intracoastal West area. Police responded on July 23, 2025, after a caller reported someone inside her son’s home. Officers found Cawthorn hiding in nearby woods and discovered bags of the homeowner’s belongings near a doorway. Cawthorn admitted entering the gated community without permission. He now faces up to five years in Florida State Prison. Sentencing will be handled by Judge Mark Borello at a later date.
