ORANGE PARK, Fla. — The Orange Park Mall has announced that the ‘Spring Fling Carnival’ will not be opening Saturday due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook said there was a contract issue between the mall and the carnival, and that the carnival allegedly was “not following protocols as outlined,” leading to the special event permit being revoked.
“Thank you for your understanding,” the mall said on Facebook. “We can’t wait to see you at our other upcoming spring events.”…
