Ashley Marie Story, 30, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jordan Neil of Marietta, are accused of trafficking ecstasy on March 18 at 11:15 a.m. at the Budget Inn Hotel, 2170 Franklin Gateway, Marietta, according to arrest warrants from the Marietta Police Department.
During the execution of a search warrant for Room 123, Story had in her room a multi-colored handbag, which contained a small gold plastic package that held 10 grams of Xanax “bars” pills. Police located a safe within the room, which Story said belonged to her but she did not have access to it because she lost her key. Following the forced opening of the locked safe, police identified a key on Neil’s key set that appeared to belong to the safe. Police took the key and were successful in locking and unlocking the safe, according to the warrants.
Inside the safe were three plastic packages of marijuana that weighed 5.5 grams each for a total of 16.5 grams. There was a white plastic bag with about 20 grams of multi-colored ecstasy/MDMA pills. There was about 11 grams of ecstasy/MDMA pills in another plastic bag with Xanax pills and unidentified round orange pills, which were field-tested at the Marietta Police Department and came back positive for amphetamine. Both bags weighed approximately 31 grams. There was also 2 grams of powdered cocaine in a folded cardboard strip of paper.
