Baker County elementary school on lockdown as deputies search for man wanted out of Duval County

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. — A Baker County elementary school is currently on lockdown as a precaution for reports of a man on the run from police in the area, according to officials with the Baker County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).

Officials have asked residents in the area of South Glen St. Mary in Baker County to be on the lookout for 44-year-old Tommy Rowland, wanted out of Duval County for failure to appear in court on charges of felony battery and false imprisonment, according to Duval County court records.
