JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — A 19-year-old man who nearly drowned last month has reunited with the officer who helped save his life, marking an emotional moment for first responders and the community.
The Jacksonville Beach Police Department shared that Cpl. LaMont recently met again with Joshua, a Jacksonville resident rescued from the ocean on April 20.
