From patriotic ceremonies and veterans tributes to concerts, festivals, car shows, waterfront adventures and family-friendly entertainment, Memorial Day weekend across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia is shaping up to be one of the busiest holiday weekends of the year.
7th Annual Memorial Day Rod Run will be held on Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Callahan Methodist Church. The event will feature classic cars and bikes; awards and competitions; food concessions; and community gathering opportunities. Organizers said 100% of proceeds benefit local programs supporting families in transition.
