Man caught with large quantities of fentanyl he planned to sell sentenced to prison

A 35-year-old Bronx man will spend nearly six years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl in New Jersey, U.S. Attorney Robert Frazer announced Tuesday.

Juan Jose Patino Parra received a 70-month prison sentence from U.S. District Judge Jamel K. Semper in Newark federal court. The judge also ordered three years of supervised release following his imprisonment.
