The highly anticipated West Side Square project in Jersey City has its first retail tenant, securing a convenience store that will serve the property’s residents and those in the surrounding area.

The operator, Square Market, will occupy 1,500 square feet at 1075 West Side Ave. under the deal with West Side Square Development Fund. The ground-floor space will offer a wide range of everyday essentials, part of a nearly 10,000-square-foot retail component that will complement the project’s 477 luxury apartments while supporting the city’s emerging Marion neighborhood…
