Controversial Charlie Kirk mural on an N.J. bakery building was painted over. Here’s why.

A controversial mural of Charlie Kirk on a Paterson building was recently painted over after the business operating inside received backlash and threats, according to the building owner.

The mural — depicting Kirk in front of an American flag and a Turning Point USA logo — was painted on the side of the La Llama Bakery & Deli, a Peruvian shop at 470 McBride Avenue.
