Man wanted for fatal Jersey City shooting caught by U.S. Marshals in North Carolina

A man wanted for a fatal Jersey City shooting that had a second victim who survived last month was caught by U.S. Marshals in North Carolina yesterday, authorities said.

Yesterday, members of the U.S. Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a 36-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Jersey City on Sunday, June 28th, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello.

Raheem Rhett, of Jersey City, is charged is charged with murder, three counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon (firearm), possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and certain persons not to possess a weapon, Mello said in a statement.
