A 35-year-old dump truck driver was killed when his vehicle overturned after striking a parked trailer on a Route 440 ramp in Woodbridge Saturday morning, July 18, authorities said.
Troopers responded to the crash at 7:13 a.m. on State Highway 440 north at milepost 1.8 in Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
A preliminary investigation found that a Mack dump truck was traveling northbound on the ramp from Route 440 north to U.S. Route 9 south when it veered off the roadway to the left, struck a parked trailer and overturned near milepost 1.8, Lebron said…
