JERSEY CITY, N.J. (PIX11) — A controversial tax may be on the horizon for Jersey City property owners, with the final budget vote set for Wednesday.
A proposed 15.5 percent increase in property taxes has been getting a lot of pushback from property owners and renters, as it could mean thousands of dollars they will need to shell out if it is approved.
