The New Jersey State Police are trying to identify a man who was caught on camera stealing a sailboat.
The theft happened about 11 p.m. on Saturday night at the Liberty Harbor Marina in Jersey City.
The footage shows a man undocking the 40-foot long 1968 Hinckley Bermuda before sailing away on it. On Tuesday, State Police released stills of the footage to the public.
The suspect seen on camera is described as a man wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt and black shorts. At some point during the theft, he appeared to have changed his clothing to a blue hat and tan hooded sweatshirt…
