Panic at New York’s Grand Central station after passenger incident sparks major delays

Two trains have been delayed approaching New York City’s Grand Central Station after police swarmed the station amid reports of an erratic passenger near the station.

At least two Manhattan-bound Metro-North trains were stopped in the tunnel between 125 Street and Grand Central after an incident on the New Haven line.

According to both police and the MTA, one person is in custody, but officials have not recovered a weapon. The MTA reported that the riders on the Harlem, Hudson, and New Haven lines should expect delays up to 15 minutes…
