NEWARK, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of breaking into four vehicles over a two-week period.
The suspect, described as a heavyset woman, entered an unlocked vehicle at approximately 12:40 a.m. in the 500 block of 18th Avenue on Aug. 28, 2026, and took a MacBook Pro computer and iPad, according to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr.
A week later, on Sept. 4, 2026, she took ear pods and a driver’s license from a vehicle at 12:05 a.m. in the 30 block of Holland Street…
