No week goes by without a new opening in Jersey City, and the city’s latest arrival is the new ShopRite of Hudson Exchange Place, located at 99 Provost Street on the second floor of the Everton residential tower. The new location celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday, October 14th, with giveaways and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new supermarket location replaces the ShopRite of Metro Plaza, which was located at 400 Marin Boulevard by Newport Mall. ShopRite is a supermarket chain based in the northeastern United States, operated by the family-owned company Inserra Supermarkets. It recently celebrated the opening of ShopRite of Hudson Exchange Place, a new 85,000-square-foot location at 99 Provost Street in Jersey City, on the second floor of the Everton residential tower. The new location is over 20,000 square feet larger than the former Marin Boulevard store.
Its grand opening was held on the morning of Wednesday, October 14th, with doors officially opened at 7AM and a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at 9AM.
