NEWARK, NJ — A Code Blue is in effect beginning at 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 29, and continuing to 8 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 30, the city announced.
The National Weather Service predicts a low of around 29 degrees during the overnight hours.
Both the city and the county offer shelter for people experiencing homelessness in the frigid temperatures.
