No Turn on Red Signs, Crosswalk Coming to Busy Jersey City Intersection

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The intersection of John F. Kennedy Blvd. and Saint Paul’s Ave in Jersey City will have a “no turn on red sign” following action by the Hudson County Board of Commissioners.

The vote by the commissioners came after several area residents raised concerns about the traffic in the area, and asked why repairs to the county-owned roadway are taking so long to complete.

County officials, who said they hoped to complete the work in a couple of months added their hope that the new traffic pattern, as well as the addition of a crosswalk, will improve safety conditions for those traveling in the area.
