Elizabeth Police Remind You to Enjoy July 4th Safely

ELIZABETH, NJ — Elizabeth Police are reminding you to celebrate the Fourth of July safely.

In a post on Facebook, police say they will not allow the possession or use of any illegal fireworks or explosives.

Police say if you’d like to report the illegal use of fireworks, call (908) 558-2114. Callers can remain anonymous.

The city’s Fourth of July celebration begins at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Veteran’s Memorial Waterfront Park.

There will be entertainment and food trucks in addition to fireworks, which start at dusk.
