Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Cook the beef: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil and cook the beef until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Sauté vegetables: Add another tablespoon of oil to the skillet and sauté the onion, garlic, carrot, and peas until softened.
  3. Make the fried rice: Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir-fry for a few minutes until heated through.
  4. Add the beef and eggs: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss to combine. Pour the beaten eggs over the mixture and scramble until set.
  5. Season and serve: Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat. Serve immediately.
