New Hoboken Law Passed, Jersey City Marathon Closes Streets And More In This Week’s Hudson County Roundup

The Hoboken Council has adopted the “Skip the Stuff” ordinance which came into effect earlier this month. This law is part of Hoboken’s ongoing commitment to its Climate Action Plan, specifically the Zero Waste Initiative. The law requires restaurants and food service establishments to no longer provide single-use food service items-both plastic and non-plastic-unless specifically requested by the customer.
