A man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison after being convicted for the fatal stabbing of a New York resident in a busy shopping center parking lot. Augusto Perez, who resides in North Bergen, was sentenced on Wednesday after being found guilty of aggravated manslaughter and hindering apprehension, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
