Suspect wanted in one-man robbery spree on Manhattan’s East Side

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD released images Friday of a man wanted for at least three recent daylight robberies at businesses on Manhattan’s East Side.

He’s been linked to two robberies in the East Village, as well as a robbery in Kips Bay—all in the past few weeks, police said.

In the most recent robbery on the afternoon of Nov. 11, he walked into a bar at 141 Avenue A and threatened a 28-year-old woman before stealing $500 from her, according to police.

He also robbed a 34-year-old woman inside a business at 145 East 27 St. on the morning of Nov. 10, allegedly stealing $500 from her before fleeing.

And on the afternoon of Oct. 21, he threatened and attempted to rob a 41-year-old man inside a bodega at 328 East 14 St. but ultimately fled empty-handed on a bike, police said.

None of the victims were physically injured during the robberies, according to police.
