Diddy’s jail cell was raidied
Virginians, there is an update related to Sean Combs’s case as it takes another bizarre turn. TMZ reports that lawyer Mark Agnifilo says Diddy’s attorneys found out Friday night that the Feds raided his jail cell and removed privileged information.
The materials taken from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn include handwritten notes to the music mogul’s legal team regarding defense witnesses and strategies for his trial, which is scheduled for May.
Angifilo says the Feds have admitted to possessing Comb’s items. He added that the search and seizure violates his client’s Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment rights.
Was the search and seizure illegal?
It was reported over the weekend that Diddy’s recorded phone calls indicate he is using his children in an attempt to tamper with witnesses and gain empathy from the public.
NBC News says the recorded calls make Diddy is guilty of obstruction of justice. Could this be why the jail cell was raided, and if so, does it mean the search and seizure were not unlawful? Virginians, be on the lookout for the next update in Sean Combs’s saga.
