A Newark mother and daughter have been charged with a fatal Halloween crash in Jersey City that claimed the life of a 43-year-old city resident, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.
Shaneeka Croom, 47, of Newark, is charged with causing death while driving with a suspended license, false reporting, obstruction, and hindering.
Additionally, Elnoria Croom-Lundy, 65, of Newark, is charged with obstruction and hindering. Both were arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday, April 1st and released pending their first court appearances.
