ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A New York City man who kidnapped a 14-year-old girl from Brighton last year and sexually assaulted her at an apartment in the Bronx has been sentenced to prison.
Charges against him included kidnapping in the first degree as a sexually motivated felony, and two counts of criminal sex act in the first and second degrees.
Investigators said Serdar Ozmen, 41, met the young girl on social media before he convinced her to leave her home in Brighton and go back with him to New York City where he then sexually assaulted her.
