Eleven teenagers, suspected members of the Tren de Aragua gang, attacked police officers in New York City’s Times Square on Friday (May 2). The incident involved a group of migrant teens, some of whom were reportedly living in migrant shelters. According to a retired New York Police Department officer, Joe Cardinale , these teens are part of the Los Diablos 42 gang, an offshoot of the Tren de Aragua, a notorious organized crime group.
The attack occurred when officers attempted to intervene in an apparent assault. Surveillance footage captured the suspects turning on the officers.
