Newark, New Jersey’s Liberty International Airport has been hit hard by delays and technical issues over the last week.
The issues began when air traffic controllers lost contact with planes, leaving them “unable to see, hear, or talk to” planes that they were responsible for, according to the National Air Traffic Controllers Association’s Galen Munroe.
