The Jersey City Redevelopment Agency is seeking proposals from qualified developers to acquire and redevelop 84 Sip Avenue & 68-74 Sip Avenue. Formerly planned as the Centre Pompidou X Jersey City, the city is now looking to sell the property to a developer for redevelopment.
The Jersey City Redevelopment Agency (“JCRA”) has issued this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) in accordance with the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1, et seq. (the “Redevelopment Law”), for the redevelopment of the following properties located in the Journal Square 2060 Redevelopment Area (the “Redevelopment Area”) in the City of Jersey City (the “City”): 1) City Tax Block 9501, Lot 21 also known as 68-74 Sip Avenue/70 Sip Avenue (“70 Sip Avenue”); and 2) City Tax Block 9501, Lot 22 also known by the street address 84 Sip Avenue (“84 Sip Avenue”, and together with 70 Sip Avenue, collectively the “Properties”).1 The Properties are subject to the Journal Square 2060 Redevelopment Plan (as amended, the “Redevelopment Plan”).
