Heartbreaking: 40 Belgian Malinois rescued from awful conditions living in NYC apartment in total confinement

In a joint statement from Animal Care Centers of New York City (ACC) and the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) on Saturday, 40 Belgian Malinois have been rescued; their ages spanning from puppies to full grown adults. The dogs had been living in an overcrowded, filthy apartment in New York City.

Reportedly, the dogs have never seen the sunlight outdoors or walked on grass.

The dogs were found in unbelievable sections of the apartment; some had been locked in closets and cupboards. Most of the dogs are reported to have never been outside of the apartment.
