No bail for Youtube star charged with hitting officer

CONWAY — A judge Tuesday declined to change the terms of bail for a YouTuber charged with attempted murder after allegedly hitting a Bartlett officer with his Jeep before leading police on a multi-county chase. Luckily, the officer sustained only minor injuries.

Charges against Erik Conover, 35, of New York City stem from a March 15 incident in Bartlett.

Charges include include attempted murder of Bartlett Patrol Officer Cameron Emmett, a special felony; first-degree assault against a police officer (Class A felony); second-degree assault (Class B felony); reckless conduct with a deadly weapon (Class B felony); plus misdemeanor charges of conduct after an accident, disobeying an officer and reckless driving…
