Clifton Killed In Early Morning Paterson, New Jersey Shooting

PATERSON, NJ.- A 55-year-old Clifton, New Jersey, man became the latest victim to fall prey to the continuing gun violence after gunfire erupted early Saturday morning in the City of Paterson.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, just shortly after 3:30 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of 19th Avenue and 42nd Street in the City of Paterson.
Police Find Clifton Man Shot Multiple Times
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a 55-year-old Clifton, New Jersey, man unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The man was immediately transported by Paterson Fire and Emergency Medical Services to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where, despite life-saving measures, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased upon arrival…
