William Sampson will be returning to Trenton as an Assemblyman from the 31st Legislative District after all.
He overtook Assemblywoman Barbara McCann Stamato on Wednesday as votes from Tuesday’s Democratic primary continued to be counted. With all precincts reporting, Sampson racked up 7,535 to McCann Stamato’s 7,341.
