Hudson County Commissioner Bill O’Dea (D-2), a Jersey City mayoral candidate, is congratulating the Democratic state Assembly nominees in the 31st and 32nd Legislative Districts poised to represent the city in Trenton beginning next year.
“The people of Jersey City just delivered a message that we will not allow outside political bosses to control our city and dictate who our representatives will be,” O’Dea said in a statement.
“I want to congratulate Assembly nominees Jerry Walker, Will Sampson, Katie Brennan and Ravi Bhalla on their victories, and I look forward to working with each of them to advocate for Jersey City on critical issues like restoring state funding to our public schools, improving public transit, adopting policies to make housing more affordable and much more.”
