A member of the Marion Gardens street gang has received two consecutive life sentences for murders and drug trafficking, Interim U.S. Attorney Alina Habba announced.
Myron Williams, also known as “Money” and “Tunchi,” 31, of Newark was sentenced before U.S. District Michael E. Farbiarz to life imprisonment for racketeering conspiracy, life imprisonment for murder in aid of racketeering, 240 months’ imprisonment for possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, and 120 months’ imprisonment for discharging a firearm during a crime of violence, with all sentences to run consecutively, Habba said in a statement.
Williams’s co-defendant Khalil Kelley, aka “Billski,” 26, of Jersey City, was previously sentenced on June 5th, to life imprisonment, plus a consecutive ten-year term of imprisonment for racketeering conspiracy, for his role in the Marion Gardens street gang and a gang-related murder.
Also yesterday, Jawaad Davis, 23, of Jersey City, was sentenced to 170 months’ imprisonment for his role in the Marion Gardens street gang, which included orchestrating a robbery that resulted in murder…
