A detective in the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is alleging that an internal investigation, initially accusing her and others of being responsible for missing evidence, was mishandled and prevented her from career advancement.
Maegan Larsen filed the lawsuit on May 28 in Superior Court against Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez and two of Larsen’s former higher-ups, Lt. Michael Crowe and Sgt. Matthew Kickey.
