A North Bergen woman was arrested after police say she hit several protesters with her vehicle during a public demonstration in Fairview on Saturday, July 12 (scroll for video).
The incident happened around midday around 2:!5 p.m., at the intersection of Fairview and Anderson avenues, according to Fairview Police Chief Vincent Bellucci.
Demonstrators were crossing the intersection, temporarily holding up traffic, when a confrontation began between one of the participants and a motorist, later identified as Linda Roglen, Bellucci said. Police say other demonstrators began surrounding Roglen’s car — and that’s when the situation turned dangerous…
