Mount Sinai Morningside Seeks Public’s Help to Identify Mystery Woman Hospitalized Over 100 Days in Harlem

Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking the public’s help to identify a woman who has been in their care since April 12. Her identity remains unknown, and any information that could assist is requested.

At approximately 4:45 a.m. on April 12, a woman was found seated on a bus stop bench at 125th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem. A 911 call from a bystander led to her being transported to the hospital. Referred to only as “Pam,” a name she is believed to use, she is typically dressed in black and often covers her face. According to ABC7NY, she is a Black woman who speaks English, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing around 170 pounds, with dark brown eyes, greying black hair, and appears to be in her late 50s.

The reasons for “Pam’s” continued hospitalization have not been publicly disclosed. Hospital staff are seeking help from anyone who may recognize her, in the hope of identifying family members, friends, or acquaintances.
