N.J. man drank 4 beers before hitting, killing woman with work van, cops say

A Newark man who allegedly struck two pedestrians, killing one and seriously injuring another, told police he had consumed four beers before the crash, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Segundo Carlos Bunay, 33, was driving a work van shortly after 9 p.m. on July 28 when he allegedly hit the women near an elementary school in the 300 block of Clinton Place in Newark, according to the affidavit.
