Man killed in Jersey City police shooting as state investigation launched
JERSEY CITY, NJ – A man was fatally shot by police Friday afternoon on one of Jersey City’s busiest corridors, prompting an immediate investigation by the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office under a state law mandating independent reviews of deadly law enforcement encounters.
