MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Secaucus woman was charged with multiple drug offenses after police said they found suspected heroin and cocaine during a traffic stop late Thursday night in Mount Olive Township.
According to police, the stop occurred around 10:30 p.m. Oct. 2 when an officer on patrol observed a gray Chevrolet traveling east on Route 46 with a defective taillight. The officer conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Netcong and spoke with the occupants of the vehicle.
During the investigation, a rear-seat passenger, identified as Sofia Elghazal, 38, of Secaucus, was allegedly found with a plastic bag containing two wax folds of suspected heroin, several folds with heroin residue, a crack pipe, and a rock believed to be cocaine…
