Cashing in on cannabis: THC-infused drinks gain ground over alcohol

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Relaxation rituals for many people usually involve filling up a cup, but increasingly, it’s not alcohol that’s going into it.

THC-infused beverages like seltzers and wine alternatives are gaining ground on alcohol, with new adopters saying the hangover-free day after and no cancer association is spurring them to make the swap. They’re all derived from hemp, made legal across the nation thanks to the 2018 Federal Farm Bill.
