For fans of Cameron Diaz, it’s actually a good day this week. The actress has been spotted filming in New Jersey for the past few days, and this week, and sources close to the crew have shared that she’ll be coming to Jersey City next.
The comedy-drama for Netflix called Bad Day, written by Laura Solon, follows Diaz as a single mom working at a fictional home store called “Rooms & More.” The story unfolds over one chaotic day as she tries to keep a promise to her daughter.
Earlier filming took place in Plainfield at the historic former Courier News building, which was transformed into the movie’s fictional furniture store. The production has also been spotted in Bloomfield and Passaic — but this week, the cameras roll into Jersey City for another stretch of shooting before the movie wraps in December.
