WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A New Jersey man who is accused of making terroristic threats against the state’s governor was arrested in Wayne County on Friday, troopers said.
Russ Semeran, 54, of Dumont, N.J., had active fugitive warrants for his arrest in New Jersey after allegedly making terroristic threats toward New Jersey Governor Phil Dunphy, according to a press release from the West Virginia State Police.
According to troopers, Semeran had been tracked to a location near Beech Fork State Park before they were eventually led to the Holy Cross Monastery. Troopers said Semeran was taken into custody there without incident…
