Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. said the shooting occurred at about 2:33 a.m. on October 16 when the detection system registered gunfire in the 100 block of Warwick Street and the 200 block of New York Avenue. Officers who responded located one 9mm casing on Warwick Street and another in the 50 block of Pulaski Street.
