Trio in ski masks rob man of $34K in cash and jewelry near Washington Bridge

BRONX, NY – A 32-year-old man was robbed early Sunday morning near Sedgwick Avenue and the Washington Bridge after three masked men confronted him and stole thousands in cash, jewelry, and personal items, police said.

The robbery happened around 3:14 a.m. when the suspects approached the victim. One displayed a gun while the others took his cell phone, about $2,000 in cash, jewelry, and a wallet. The stolen property was valued at roughly $34,500.

The trio fled south on Sedgwick Avenue in a blue BMW and remain at large. No injuries were reported.

All three suspects were described as males wearing black ski masks and dark clothing. One wore a black sweater with gray sweatpants and white sneakers; another had on a black sweater, black sweatpants, and black sneakers; and the third wore a black jacket, black sweatpants, and white sneakers…
